Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an evolving health concern, and we are here to help.
If you have flu-like symptoms or you’re feeling unwell and have not been in contact with anyone at risk of being infected with coronavirus (COVID-19), please call and talk to reception. Let them know what your symptoms are and make an appointment.
If you have returned to Australia from overseas or been in close contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus, special restrictions apply. All people who arrived in Australia from midnight 15 March 2020 or think they have been in close contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus are required to self-isolate for 14 days.
If you have been identified as being at risk of infection with coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and you have now developed symptoms, you must isolate yourself in your home or health care setting until Public Health Authorities inform you it is safe for you to return to your usual activities.
During the 14 days of isolation, you must stay at home or in your hotel and don’t go to public places including work, school, childcare, university, or public gatherings. Only people who usually live with you should be in the home. Do not see visitors. If you are in a hotel, avoid contact with other guests or staff.
At Orange Square Medical Centre we believe that good health should be accessible to everyone. We offer bulk-billing options to our patients with valid pension/healthcare cards, children under 16 years of Age or Department of Veterans' Affair (DVA) cards holder for some of our consultations. Surcharge applies when you choose to pay with a credit card. Some services are not fully Bulk billed. Please note Out of pocket payment may apply. You will be advised of the payment when booking an appointment.
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
From 1 July 2024, our out of pocket fees will increase. please talk to our reception staff when you make a booking or when you check in. Also, we charge $30 FOR LATE CANCELLATION OR NO SHOW. This is payable before we book your next appointment.
We only bulk bill children under 16 years, pension/healthcare/Concession cardholder and DVA.
